Monica
I am a person-centred therapist who supports people through the moments that feel overwhelming, confusing, or emotionally heavy. My work is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and genuine presence. I believe deeply in each person’s inner capacity for growth, and my role is to walk beside you as you reconnect with that strength.
I became a therapist because I understand the power of having a space where you can speak freely, be truly heard, and make sense of your experiences without judgement. My own journey taught me how transformative it is to have someone sit with you in your truth — steady, compassionate, and without agenda. That experience shaped my purpose and continues to guide the way I practise today.
I draw on my personal strengths — emotional insight, intuition, grounded calmness, and the ability to hold deep, meaningful conversations — to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel genuinely seen and understood.
A key part of my approach is psychoeducation: helping clients understand their nervous system, attachment patterns, trauma responses, anxiety cycles, and the psychological frameworks that give clarity to their inner world. When people understand why they feel the way they do, change becomes far more accessible.
Support insight and emotional understanding
As an MBACP registered therapist, I work ethically, safely, and in alignment with the BACP framework. In every session, your story, pace, and lived experience lead the way. I offer a warm, steady, and compassionate space where you can explore freely, make sense of your experiences, and move toward a more grounded and empowered version of yourself.
If you’re ready to talk, process, or simply be heard, I’m here to support you — gently, collaboratively, and at your pace.
